Get help
Support cannot help in an emergency. Emails are read by a person, not straight away, and we cannot contact emergency services for you. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911.
Email us
It helps to include:
- what you were trying to do, and what happened instead,
- your phone model and operating system version, if it is about the app,
- the phone number involved, if it is about a text or call.
Please do not send screenshots showing other people's phone numbers unless we ask.
Common requests
I got a text or call from StandingBy
Someone who knows you added you as a contact. What it means and what to do.
Stop your messages
Reply STOP to any StandingBy text. That stops texts and automated calls. You can also email us with your number.
Delete my information
Users can delete their account in the app. Anyone can email us to ask. What gets deleted, and what is kept.
Report misuse
If someone added you without asking, or is using StandingBy to harass or track someone, email us with the number involved.
